Most would think that golf is the game of precision. It is – but luck factors into a huge chunk of it. I do not need to tell you about how awesome it feels to sink that ever elusive hole in one off a perfectly laid drive – it is that bit of Xanaduu that all golfers strive to feel. Golf is not all about luck or your awesome skill with a club but a lot of it does, in fact, depend on the club itself. Though those other things play a big part in the game of golf the equipment is a much respected as the deliverer of dreams. If we can talk about the ball we are using or the glove on our hand then the club is certainly our weapon of mass destruction on the golf course.

We cannot mention clubs without mentioning the r9 Driver from the boys at Taylormade Golf. The combination of TaylorMade Flight Control Technology and Movable Weight Technology make theTaylorMade R9 Driver the only totally adjustable driver on the market!Use the built-in Flight Control Technology to change the face angle, lie angle and loft of your R9 Driver to affect side-to-side flight by up to 40 yards. There are a total of eight different clubhead positions. Utilize TaylorMade's Moveable Weight Technology to change the location to affect side-to-side flight by up to 35 yards.

Inverted cone geometry in a classic head shape of R9 Driver helps to ensure fast ball speed and big distance even on off-center hits while offering both traditional and modern lines in a stunning driver head.

The sophisticated high-inertia tip of the Fujikura Motore F1 65-gram low-torque graphite shaft promotes faster ball speed.

If you are like me and can never seem to get a straight shot on a ball then if you are willing to part with about $250 then the way to the promised land of straight flying balls is close at hand with the r9 driver. But if the price makes you sweat a little, the cheaper alternative would have to be the younger brother of this driver, the Callaway GX Squared Ti Driver. Both posses a similar amount of quality.
